Testimonials
"I highly recommend Catherine as an outstanding career professional. I am a secondary school careers adviser and when I decided to look for a new job after 10 years I knew I should get independent advice. I was directed to Catherine by another career professional whom I greatly respect. Catherine gave me excellent support. She is up to the minute in career theory and practice and well informed about the job market. Catherine is thorough and analytical and helped me see my professional possibilities clearly. I have written or edited hundreds of CVs and still benefitted from Catherine's skill when it came to writing my own. I have ended up with a great new job and am extremely grateful for Catherine's help getting me there."

"In year 13 I had the biggest decision to make in my life up until now- what and where to study. I knew I loved economics, maths and physics. I got great marks and awards in physics and all the advice I got was engineering but I definitely liked the sound of finance. I was recommended to Catherine at Career Edge and she was able to give me some assessment exercises looking at industries, motivated skills and values and this gave me an accurate summary of my interests, strengths and weaknesses. In summary I wanted a career dealing in finance and decision making with a varied workload involving interaction with people. After our first hour appointment I had made some key decisions about my starting career and how to finalise the degree.
On my second appointment with Catherine, her extensive knowledge of courses, degrees and the best university for my specialty, I came to an unexpected but perfect decision, a conjoint Commerce and Property degree at Auckland. Catherine explained to me the advantages of this conjoint degree.
I am currently in my third year of a BCom/BProp at UOA and it’s all going brilliantly and I would not have got to this decision without Catherine’s assistance. I have been awarded two 'First in Course' awards, a scholarship and an internship. I will also have the qualifications to go straight into the finance industry where I hope to utilise my knowledge in property markets."

"Catherine provided great career guidance following my redundancy. For me this was a journey of self-realisation into my values, interests and so much more... I was not at all familiar with the current job market. I now have good ideas for my career path and know which industry segment I’d prefer to work in. Great to have expert advice on CV writing, interview skills and to understand the importance of networking. Thanks Catherine for your excellent support."
